Research Study

The focus for my study is the concept of belonging and identity in understanding the experiences of mixed race people in England. As someone of mixed race heritage, this research is something I am very passionate about and therefore am keen to hear and include first-hand experiences from our mixed race community. I am looking for anyone who identifies as mixed-race to take part!

Participation would include a 45 minute to 1 hour length interview in an informal setting. I aim to create a relaxed and safe space for the duration of the interview process, therefore we can meet either in-person or online, depending upon your preference.

You can share as much as you feel comfortable with and any information or data collected will be deleted after my research is completed later this academic year. I can send an information and consent document separately that explains my research in more depth, and keep in mind that you can withdraw at any point if you feel uncomfortable.

Participation would be a great help to me in progressing with my research, however this is also an opportunity to use your voice to contribute to how mixed race people are understood in England. It is vital that I can hear as many accounts as possible, so I can get variety in my sample in order to best represent the mixed-race perspective in England.

If you have any questions, or are interested in any way about this research, please feel free to contact me Zeta K Greaham.
