This year the PIH annual conference is devoted to listening to and learning from some of the groups making a difference to mixed race people and families. There are groups right across the UK who are giving time and energy to support the mixed race community in very different ways, and they are invited to come along and share what they do. It will be a good opportunity to share ideas, identify needs and issues and to look for ways of working together and supporting one another.

Conference fee: £5.00 for non-members
Creche worker available; £1 fee per child, places limited. Bookings and fees must be made in advance. Any additional donations for the day will be welcome to cover the expenses and costs.

It will be a good opportunity to share ideas, identify needs and issues and to look for ways of working together and supporting one another.
After our successful conference in April this year it seems very appropriate to celebrate this wealth of activity and to look outside our own localities to the bigger UK picture.
Come along and join in this event and bring ideas, examples of un-met need, and learn more about the groups, projects and the excellent work being done. We know this will be a time for celebrating and enjoying good company in the lovely surroundings of the Ealing Friends Meeting House. So do come and bring friends, family and some food to share for lunch. It will be great for each of us to bring a dish to share and to make sure there is enough food for everyone so that no one goes hungry. Members traveling by train could bring bread, cheese, fruit or something else that doesn't need immediate refrigeration.
A creche is available for a small fee; access to the building is good with an enclosed garden at the rear. There is a small car park in the grounds of the meeting house and if you're traveling by tube or train to Ealing Broadway Station it is less than 10 minutes walk away.
